The Returns of Mimpi at Karma Beach Bali

After a successful introduction back in March, Karma Kandara is bringing back Mimpi – their monthly beach party series on the island of the Gods.

Set in Bali’s most stunning cove at Karma Kandara, Karma Beach Bali is a breathtaking tropical oasis. The pioneer of beach clubs across Southeast Asia, this highly famed day club is known for bringing the hottest of entertainer to the island of the Gods.

Back in March, they introduced the latest beach party series called Mimpi – Dreaming of Paradise. This monthly event is unlike any other beach parties on the island, to make it more memorable they have prepared something special for the guests. Aside from the banging tunes from international DJs, guests will be also dancing along to percussion and live musicians at this event while enjoying fantastic food and cocktails.

To welcome the start of summer holidays, Karma Beach Bali has finally announced the dates of Mimpi parties all through the month of July for you to enjoy while holidaying in Bali:

On 18 May 2019, legendary UK producer and DJ Ashley Beedlewill take control of the DJ deck. He began DJing during the 1980s and made a name for himself during the heyday if Acid House. His name is referenced in Daft Punk’s song as one of the ‘Teachers’ and has worked with luminaries such as Talking Heads’ David Bryne, remixed Bob Marley, and had global hits such as ‘Lazy’ which he won an Ivor Novello award.

On 15 June 2019, Karma Beach Club will host Mr.Cas the ring leader of the pack that night. As the owner and co-founder for Plink Plonk records and a few other, Mr.C is best known as frontman, songwriter and producer of the pop group The Shamen with whom he notched up a string of top 10 hits including Move Any Mountain, Love Sex Intelligence, and the UK number 1 smash hit Ebeneezer Goode.

On 20 July 2019, Bert Bevanswill be in-charge to make your body dancing all night. Hailed as one of the forefathers of dance music, he played an integral role in the development of dance music in New York as one of the Studio54 DJs and in Europe where he played along Francois K in the ’70s. Bert Bevans started DJing in the early ‘70s at the traditional house or block parties in Hollis, Queens – Home of Russell Simmons, DMX, LL Cool J, Run DMC, and a host of countless others.
