Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach is delighted to announce the appointment of Masaya Hasebe as their new General Manager, effective from 1st of March 2020.
A seasoned hotelier with over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Masaya Hasebe started his career with management training programs in several hotels under Nikko Hotels Internationals in Japan and the United Kingdom, and later expanded his expertise to marketing and system development programs in JAL Hotels corporate office. When the brand merged into Okura Nikko Hotels, he focused on combining marketing strategies with system integration through various placements from Assistant Director of Marketing at Hotel Okura, Deputy Director of Marketing at JAL Hotels, to Deputy Director of Marketing at Okura Nikko Hotel Management.
“Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach already holds the advantage with its uniqueness as a small luxury resort, beachfront location, as well as a wide variety of restaurants & bars which also offers a Japanese izakaya-style dining experience,” Hasebe-san explained. “I’m very excited about my new role and look forward to contributing my ideas and skills to further elevate the success of the hotel.”
Prior to joining Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach, Masaya Hasebe held the role of Executive Assistant Manager at The Okura Prestige Bangkok for over 3 years. During his employment there, he dedicated his time to optimizing quality-assurance, achieving operational targets such as customer satisfaction, operation profits, preventive maintenance, and positioning the hotel in the top class of the competitive luxury market. Indonesia will be the second country he worked in the Asia Pacific. With his expertise, he will be focusing on marketing and re-positioning Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach to enhance business opportunities as well as improving operational efficiency, or known as ‘Kaizen’ in Japanese.
