Marriott Business Council Launches Collaborative Fundraising Initiative With Blibli.Com

In order to support its hotel associates impacted by the pandemic, Marriott Business Council Indonesia launches a fundraising initiative with one of Indonesia’s most renowned shopping platforms, Blibli.com.

Comprising key hotels General managers across Indonesia, who advocate for the hospitality industry and hotel-specific issues, The Marriott Business Council preserve the company culture to serve the local community. Together, leaders within the Council have adopted Marriott’s culture of “putting people first” as the foundation for everything they do.

Taking place from 15th until 27th July 2021, this collaborative effort by Marriott Business Council Indonesia and Blibli.com, will feature sales of selected hotel vouchers sold at special prices starting from 45% off.

Participated by 25 Marriott hotels around Indonesia, the vouchers range from; 4 days 2 nights stay vouchers at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali; 3 days 2 nights stay vouchers at Bvlgari Resort Bali; Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve; W Seminyak and Sheraton Surabaya Hotel & Towers to The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan; Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel and Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers to name a few, hotel vouchers will include validity dates all the way until 2022 and 2023 in some cases.

As the world continues to maneuver through the difficult challenges of COVID-19, business remains challenging, especially for the travel and hospitality industry here in Indonesia and across the world. The unprecedented situation faced by the hospitality industry is substantial and has impacted a lot of people including Marriott International’s associates.

Putting people first is at the core of Marriott International. Hotels across Indonesia have been going above and beyond to demonstrate the extraordinary collective power of people to help others. Proceeds from the sales of the vouchers on Blibli.com, will go towards providing basic food supplies to affected associates throughout the archipelago.

These are unsettling times, and throughout this pandemic, Marriott International’s focus has been resolute, in supporting each other and helping to take care of as many of its associates as possible.
