To commemorate the blissful rainy season in Bali, Locavore restaurant has just introduced ‘Rintik-Rintik’; a seventeen course degustation menu to invite their guest on a memorable culinary experience.
Closing the year of 2020 with successful event at their Locavore Now Jakarta establishment, Locavore brings the creative and fun excursion to their headquarter in Bali island. During the last 3 months, Locavore Ubud has been celebrating the shift of the season with the meticulous PANCAROBA set menu. Pancaroba (means ‘in-between’) season signals the end of dry days and embrace the upcoming wet weathers.
To embrace the ongoing rainy season, Locavore launch the Rintik-Rintik (means drip drop in Indonesian) set menus. Inspired by the clouds, puddles and the abundance of harvest discoverable during the wet period. Featuring produce and animal protein sustainably sourced from our network of suppliers and farmers. It comes with a drink pairing which also comes from the same creative thoughtfulness and use of ingredients.
Guest can enjoy some of Locavore’s finest avant-garde culinary creations through Rintik-Rintik menu; such as Charred baby corn, coffee miso emulsion, termite powder, coffee kombucha reduction or Raw lamb, kari kambing shio koji, wild leaves, warm lamb fat vinaigrette, crispy aromatics. For the dessert, savor upon some of the ridiculously eloquent-shaped treats; such as Frozen rice porridge, blood berry sorbet, crispy rice, reduced blood berry kombucha or Arrowroot brioche, french toast style sourdough bread miso gelato, mulberries.
Helmed by the dynamic duo Eelke Plasmeijer and Ray Ardiansyah, Locavore serves modern, creative cuisine through creative tasting menu, which often features more than 20 dishes. The menu changes frequently to accommodate their core concept to only use Indonesian-sourced ingredients.
