For the very first time in history, ‘Le Petit Chef’ a.k.a the smallest chef in the world, will make a magical appearance in Bali at the upscale venue of Grand Hyatt Bali.

Brought to life by 3D projection mapping technology developed by Belgian-based company Skullmapping, Le Petit Chef is an innovative dining experience that delivers the story of a small animated chef onto diners’ plates, where he proceeds to ‘cook’ their food in front of the guest.

At only 58mm tall, Le Petit Chef is small in stature. However, his theatrical presence leaves a big impression wherever he go. Since its creation in 2015, Le Petit Chef has become a viral sensation in restaurants around the world; from London to Singapore, from Dubai to Kuala Lumpur. Now, he will be hosted in the island of Bali by Grzegorz Odolak, the culinary director of Grand Hyatt Bali.

From April 30 to October 31, 2021, the smallest chef on Earth will combine cinema, theatre and culinary creations in Klungkung Room, an exclusive private dining area at Grand Hyatt Bali, accommodating up to 20 guests per seating.

Guests will be able to enjoy the five-course dinner with three menus to choose from: Le Petit Chef Classic menu, Le Grand Chef menu and Le Junior Chef menu .One Le Petit Chef Classic dinner session will be available from Wednesday to Friday, while two Le Grand Chef dining sessions are on offer on Saturday and Sunday. The Le Junior Chef menu is also available for the little ones from Wednesday to Sunday.

“Grand Hyatt Bali is bringing new and unique dining offers this year, and one in particular is Le Petit Chef,” said Grzegorz. “I am delighted to announce that Grand Hyatt Bali will host the renowned smallest chef in the world. With Le Petit Chef, we are excited to invite diners of all ages to go on an immersive dining journey to remember.” he added.

The Le Petit Chef experience, which has been making the rounds on social media, hasn’t disappointed diners. While taking photographs is encouraged during dinner, you might just want to sit back and enjoy the magnificent show of hi-tech dining journey. For reservations, please visit
