Lunar New Year is just ’round the corner! Gather with your family and friends to celebrate the glorious occasion at The Westin Ubud and kickstart the Year of Ox in style!

Chinese New Year is the most important moment to cherish with family, and The Westin Ubud understand it very well. On 8 February until 12 February 2021 start from 5.30PM at Tabia Restaurant, the resort will offer a Chinese Buffet Dinner feast for guests to treasure family reunions over an abundance of scrumptious culinary delights.
Highlights of the menu are: Variants Dim Sum, Crispy Pork Belly with Honey Sauce, Lamb Skewers with Garlic & Cumin, Sweet and Sour Sesame Chicken, Stir Fried Black Pepper Beef with Chai sin, Stir Fried Tiger Prawn with Salted Egg, Steamed Barramundi with Soy, Ginger & Spring Onion, Braised seafood with Japanese Tofu Bean Curd and Vegetables in Oyster Sauce. Meticulously created by Westin Ubud’s Executive Chef Robert Murray, those festive dishes signifying fortune and prosperity for the year to come.

Not to forget Yu Sheng; as the part of a multi-dish dinner tradition with Tuna, Chinese Radish, Seaweed, Carrot, Peanut, Cucumber, Spring Onion, Red Cabbage Pickled Ginger, Crispy Wonton, Sesame Oil, Sesame Seeds considered as a symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigor for the New Year. Diners will gather around the table and toss the shredded ingredients into the air with chopsticks while saying various auspicious wishes. It is believed that the height of the toss reflects the height of the diner’s escalation in fortunes; therefore diners are expected to toss enthusiastically!
